As part of the multi-year partnership, represented by JMC Sport, van Rooyen will serve as a global brand ambassador for Slync. Van Rooyen will wear the Slync logo on his left chest, beginning this week at the 2021 World Golf Championships-Workday Championship at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, FL.

Van Rooyen won twice in 2017, first on the Sunshine Tour at the Eye of Africa PGA Championship and then on the Challenge Tour at the Hainan Open. Erik graduated to the European Tour and excelled during that season, with five top-ten finishes seeing him earn the 2018 Graduate of the Year award. In 2019, Erik continued his great form with his maiden win on the European Tour at the Scandinavian Invite, setting a new tournament record 261 on the par-70 course.
